Software DevelopmentI design, build, and run systems in high-availability environments. I develop mission-critical code (C/C++, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, Shell, and Perl) in real-world Internet and data-center settings, including my own small data center that I maintain. I bring full-stack networking expertise—from low-level sockets to high-level application protocols and services. I have worked extensively with application-layer protocols and also handle lower-level TCP/IP packet projects as well as WordPress backend development.

I have deep experience debugging complex systems, maintaining mission-critical infrastructure, and performance tuning. My ongoing work on our data-center services keeps me current with Linux server environments and gives me a real-world perspective on them. Ongoing and past projects include:
